How we work
Our volunteers approach colleges and institutions, and inform them of our interest to sponsor, meritorious and needy students. In turn, the principal send us a list of students who might qualify. Out volunteers then go to each of these institutions and interview the students and short list them on basis of merit and financial need. Many a times, the homes of these students are also visited.
A list of selected students who require aid are then uploaded on our website and circulated to possible sponsors. The sponsor can select one or more students to sponsor. Once the student is sponsored we provide the donor with information on his / her progress thrice in a year. The donor's money is distributed directly to the students over a period of time throughout the course period according to the student's requirement. In case, the student for some reason does not need that money, we will approach the sponsor again to be able to take his/her permission to transfer the funds to another student.
